Are you satisfied?
This Morning I was watching television and flipping through the channels. I had one of the channels catch my eye, it was a preacher and I listened to his message and it really struck me. He was talking about seeking first the Kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33). Many times we are seeking answers to circumstances instead of seeking God’s Kingdom. I went into my office and began to read Luke 8:11-15 among many other verses. It really challenged me and my mind set. Life can be crowded and busy, to put Christ first is very heard because it takes patients and time. All I need is Christ, nothing else truely matters in life in comparison to Him. Lord forgive me of worring about, and being so consumed with life I forget how You are everything I am looking for. Today, take a moment and spend some time with Christ. –Pastor Shawn–
Heartland United – Thursday Night
Hey Gang,
Just a friendly reminder to join us Thursday for Heartland United. You can participate from your home by going to www.mogulus.com/churchoftheheartland.com at 6:00pm central time. However if you really want to have a good time, join us at our home an hour early at 5:00pm. We will be serving up Julia’s B&K hot dogs and root beer. Now you can’t beat that, huh?
I’m also excited about this week because one of my favorite people in the universe, Pastor Jim of Logansport campus, will be giving us the message. I know we will be in for a treat!

PRAYER MEETING Wed. May 6
There is going to be a prayer meeting tomarrow, May 6th at 6pm located at the church. I would like to encourage everyone to attend who can. Lyndee and I have been praying and feel the Lord is wanting to do something great in our midst. The Devil is attacking peoples lives and families. I (pastor Shawn) will be joining you from Townson, Maryland. I feel the Lord is going to heal our hearts and restore joy and passion for Him in our lives. Hello From North Carolina!!
We currently are in Holly Springs, North Carolina, near Reighley, North Carolina. We are here visiting Lyndee’s brother. We got in Saturday night and went to their church on Sunday morning. It was so refreshing! I love how big the body of Christ is. There were 9 people baptised during the service. You could see the Lord moving in there lives! I miss everyone, Wednesday we will be heading to Townson, Maryland to see my brother. It is a great thing to see family that we have not seen in awhile!! God Bless!!
